My 10 year old granddaughter and I took it in turns to read these short stories out to each other and loved them all! Well constructed story lines and use of vocabulary that doesn’t patronise. Quite a few tingly spine moments!
Well done to the author and illustrator and I can’t wait for the next volume.

Children will greatly enjoy reading this compilation of stories. There is much to engage them with tales of strange adults, animals, mysterious appearances and disappearances and often strong echoes from the past. The young reader will have little difficulty in identifying with the main characters though they do come across some rather unusual and sometimes scary situations!

Well written stories with a paranormal theme, not my favourite kind of writing, so I passed it on to my 13 yer old son who loved this book so between us we agreed 4 stars.
